It seemed that everything here was familiar, talked about, and visited – the majestic Cathedral, the Gediminas Tower overlooking the city, the labyrinths of the old town streets, the skyline-piercing Constitution Avenue, the cozy St. Anne’s Church, quietly nestled next to the Bernardine Garden… So much, or just enough? Beyond the city center lies undiscovered Vilnius. And not to mention that in every old town street with its polished cobblestones, there are many gates through whose keyholes it’s time to peek.

With this goal, Neakivaizdinis Vilnius was born – an idea encouraging locals and visitors to discover an alternative side of Vilnius. From little-known historical and cultural sites, unique Vilnius personalities, untrodden streets and alleys, the mysteries of the center and periphery… to bars, cafes, and entertainment – all that the city had kept to itself for a while. However, like for each of us, joyful discoveries are those you can share.

Maybe it’s neighborhood studies, introducing the stories of districts on the city’s periphery. Or perhaps – art studies, paving paths through the most photogenic city spots and building walls turned into canvases? Interested in literature? You can walk through Vilnius as if through the pages of a book. Of course, after intense exploration, it’s time to relax, so in the ‘After Lectures’ section, you’ll find unconventional ways to do so – from niche shops, gourmet offers, unexpected entertainment and activities to art spaces or lesser-known green zones of Vilnius.
